The kraft range offers a simple and understated alternative to the traditional coffin.

Made from high-performance corrugated board with a natural kraft finish, the design reflects a quieter and more contemporary approach, while retaining the familiarity and dignity expected of a coffin.

For some families, the appeal lies in the simplicity of the material itself. Others choose to personalise the coffin in a way that feels meaningful and individual.

A natural kraft finish

The plain kraft surface can be left simple and understated, or where appropriate, used by families for handwritten messages or decoration arranged through their funeral director.

Some families choose to write messages directly onto the coffin, while others add drawings, flowers, or artwork created by family and friends.

Whether left plain or individually personalised, the range has been designed to retain its simplicity and natural character.

Developed for practical use

Outside the Box Caskets have been developed to meet the practical requirements of a funeral, with close attention given to every aspect of their construction.

Made from high-performance dual-wall corrugated board, each coffin includes an internal support system, solid flat base, jute handles and a click-lock lid.

Suitable for green burial, burial and cremation. The range has been independently tested and certified through the FFMA Casket and Shroud Certification Scheme, in conjunction with Intertek.

What makes Outside the Box different

Outside the Box Caskets combine clever construction, carefully selected materials and a softer contemporary shape. Available in plain kraft and selected printed designs, the range gives funeral directors and families another option when a traditional coffin does not feel right.
